STOP EVERYTHING! Zack Snyder just dropped a teaser to his teaser trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Check it out!!
Few times in life the hype is this high. Star Wars VII trailer tomorrow and a Batman V Superman one on Monday. Life is fucking good.
Thanks for reading! Are you excited for the Batman V Superman trailer? Are you going to a Imax screening? Let us know in the comments or tweet at us @Caped_Informers or me @cstrand73. And make sure to tune in for our weekly Arrow,Flash, and Daredevilreviews.
Exactly one year from today, Batman will meet Superman on the big screen. It will be a momentous occasion. Colors will look a brighter, food will taste a little better, and orgies will break out at the mere mention of Ben Affleck's chin. But until then we will have to just enjoy the first look images that Zack Snyder has been sporadically releasing. For today's viewing pleasure Entertainment Weekly has released the first picture of Jesse Eisenberg's (Zombieland) Lex Luthor.
The curls are gone and what remains is a bald scowling man. Seriously though I think that was what most people were afraid of, a curly haired Lex Luthor. Personally I was just like everyone else when Jesse Eisenberg was first cast. I was apprehensive about it. But after our second podcast called "When Jesse Met Smaug?", I got onboard. Jesse has shown time and time that he has acting ability. Just because he played Mark Zuckerberg before doesn't mean this performance will be a carbon copy. And from the sounds of the EW interview Jesse seems to be taking this character in a fun new direction. I mean he does look quite menacing in this picture. I'm excited to see what the final product looks like.
As for the people who wanted Bryan Cranston for Luthor, what would be exciting about seeing another picture of Bryan Cranston bald? It would be the same thing you saw a million times on Breaking Bad. Just because he was bald in one role doesn't mean he needs to play every bald characters for the rest of his life. The man has hair goddamn it, let him show it off in his remaining years. Now while I do think Cranston obviously has the chops to play the titular villain, his age was my main concern. He was just too much older then Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill. Like in Smallville and Mark Waid's Superman: Birthright, I prefer a Lex who is of a similar age as the Big Blue Boy Scout. Eisenberg is the same age as the Beefcake of Steel which makes me happy. But for the people who want Cranston in a DC movie (or any comic movie), I (and about a billion other people) think he should play Jim Gordon in the Batman flicks. He is the perfect age and with a mustache, he is picturesque of Gordon's comic counterpart.
At the end of the day though, I would let a fucking ewok play Lex Luthor if he shaved his head. Glad to see that Jesse grabbed a razor and joined the famous bald community. Jesse Eisenberg, Larry David, George Constanza, Walter White #UniteTheBald!
Thanks for reading! What do you guys think of Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor? Let us know in the comments or tweet at us @Caped_Informers or me @cstrand73. And make sure to tune in for our weekly Arrow and Flash reviews.
Just under an hour ago Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice director Zack Snyder released the first official image of Jason Mamoa's Aquaman via Twitter. Check it out!
I think he looks fantastic. He is absolutely rocking that beautiful armor and amazing trident. And don't forget about his Atlantian symbol on his belt.
As for "Unite the Seven" it could mean either unite all seven members of the Justice League or it could mean unite the seven seas. Personally I think (more like hope) we are going to get a series of these photos each featuring a new member of the Justice League until Batman V Superman is released. But holy shit just seeing Aquaman is exciting. What do all those naysayers think now? #UniteTheSeven!
You the man, Zack Snyder!
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25th, 2016.
What is the Justice League?: DC's greatest superheroes came together to form The Justice League in order to protect the Earth from threats that were too great to take on individually. Created in 1960 by Gardner Fox, the League has had many iconic tales told over it's 50 year history battling the likes of Darkseid and The Injustice Gang.
Director: Zack Snyder (Man Of Steel)
Why?: By 2019 Zack Snyder will have dedicated the last ten years of his life to DC comic movies. He will have directed Watchmen, Man Of Steel, Batman V Superman, and Justice League Pt.1. Tell me any director with a more impressive comic resume than that? You can't. Watchmen was a superhero ensemble film and personally I think Zack did an amazing job with that story. He will be able to put the group's dynamics on full display while providing us with captivating action sequences.
Proposed Story:AfterBrainiac has weakened the world's defenses in Justice League Pt. 1, Lex Luthor forms the Legion Of Doom (or Injustice Gang either name works) to counteract the Justice League and destroy his Kryptonian enemy once and for all. Inspired By:This film should be inspired by Justice League and Justice League Unlimited's episodes "Injustice For All" Pt. 1+2, "Secret Society" Pt. 1+2, and "I am Legion". Also throw in a dash of Grant Morrison's JLA storyline "Rock Of Ages" for good measure.
This was the most badass use of any song ever
Lead Characters (Cast):Our heroes remain the same all while a team of their arch-nemisises are just beginning to form. 1. Superman/Clark Kent (Henry Cavill)
Why?: He is the Team Leader/ Resident Boy Scout. Cavill is a beefcake.
2. Batman/Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck)
Why?: Batfleck will have graced the silver screen two times by the release this film. If all goes well he could be the definitive version of Batman. He is the team's tactician and greatest mind.
3. Wonder Woman/Diana Prince (Gal Gadot)
Why?: Wonder Woman is one of my favorite characters. She will have appeared 3 times in the DCU already. She is a expert fighter and part of the Holy Trinity.
4. The Flash/Barry Allen (Ezra Miller)
Why?: Grant Gustin is killin' it on The Flash TV show, so let's hope Ezra Miller can do the same in the movie-verse. He definitely has the acting chops to do so.
5. Green Lantern/Hal Jordan (Jensen Ackles)
Why?: Hal and Barry's friendship will have become stronger by this movie and be integral to both their story lines.
6. Cyborg/Victor Stone (Ray Fisher)
Why?: Vic Stone is the tech guy. He also can beat ass if need be.
7. Aquaman/Arthur Curry (Jason Mamoa)
Why?: The Justice League needs the ocean on their side and Aquaman is the king of the Seven Seas. Mamoa is a physical specimen and hopefully will have displayed how cool this character is by the time this movie rolls around.
Legion Of Doom
1. Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg)
Why?: Eisenberg will have played Luthor twice by now (In BVS and SS) so the general audience should really know what makes him tick. He wants to be the most powerful man on Earth so he is making one final effort to destroy his alien foe by bringing together the world's strongest villains.
2. The Joker (Jared Leto)
Why?: Joker would be the uninvited member of the team much like he was in "Injustice For All". My guess is that Lex and Joker will have had met before in Suicide Squad and because of events that took place Lex wants nothing to do with the crazy clown. So what makes Lex let Mr. J join the team? Well, because Ben Affleck is playing an older Batman it should be expected that he has faced off against the Joker before (perhaps many times). And because of this he will prove his worth to the team with of his extensive knowledge of the knowing the way the Bat thinks.
Leto has been rumored for the Clown Prince of Crime and I'm a big fan of it. His Joker should be more unpredictable and comedic than Ledger's chaotic interpretation.
3. Black Manta (Will Smith)
Why?: All the biggest guns from the Justice League's rogues gallery will be on hand and it's not a party without Black Manta. He adds the water angle and he fucking despises Aquaman. Enough said.
4. Captain Cold (Gabriel Macht)
Why?: Flash's biggest baddie should be invited to join the Legion. He will have been previously introduced in The Flash. Maybe at this point he even has cold powers and not just a gun.
5. Bizzaro (Henry Cavill)
Why?: Lex Luthor creates Bizarro from DNA obtained from General Zod's corpse and Superman. His relationship to Luthor should be modeled after Geoff John's "Forever Evil" run. In which Bizarro is a loyal yet simple-minded protector of Lex, who Lex actually grows to care about.
6. Cheetah (Maggie Q)
Why?: Cheetah like Joker will have fought her arch foe Wonder Woman before. Her backstory and hatred for WW are not too complex to introduce into this story.
7. Deathstroke (Manu Bennet)
Why?: I love Deathstroke. You love Deathstroke. We all love Deathstroke. Lex surely has the capital to secure DC's most ruthless assassin for his new squad.
8. Sinestro (Daniel Craig)
Why?: Sinestro was Hal Jordan's mentor who later became his greatest enemy. He has his yellow ring that controls fear, but has yet to form his Sinestro Corps. His introduction here provides a great lead-in for the new Green Lantern movie if WB chooses to adapt "The Sinestro Corp War". Craig is an outside the box choice, but he has done well portraying villainous characters before in Road To Perdition and Layer Cake.
Cameo: A fun little teaser for a potential Justice League Pt. 3.
Darkseid (Michael Ironside)
Why?: Teasing Darkseid and his Parademons as the villains of a potential sequel. Ironside has voiced Darkseid in various DC animation and I would love to see him continue to do so in the movies.

Who is Batman?: Batman is the secret identity of Bruce Wayne, an American billionaire, industrialist, and philanthropist (You hear that Tony Stark?). Having witnessed the murder of his parents as a child, he swore revenge on criminals, an oath tempered with a sense of justice. Wayne trained himself to peak human physical and intellectual perfection. Often called "The World's Greatest Detective", he dons a bat-themed costume to strike fear into the heart of criminals and to fight crime in Gotham City.
Director: Ben Affleck (The Town)
Why?: Batman directing a Batman movie. In the immortal words of Stan Lee "Nuff said". But seriously Affleck is a major asset to the DCCU not just as an actor, but as a director. In all three of his directoral features Ben has displayed that he knows how to shoot dark and gritty. But what he handles best are the characters in his movies. Each one is an unique and interesting individual provided with kickass dialogue. In addition to shooting the film, Affleck, who is big comics fan himself, should co-write this script with his boy Chris Terrio (Argo).
Proposed Story: Batman thinks he knows his city better than anyone, but is he ever wrong. After a string of strange murders that implicate Dick Grayson (Nightwing), Batman must investigate into an urban legend, that he looked into as a child, called the Court of Owls. He soon finds there may be some truth to the legend, but will he be able to stop the Court's plans before they take out their next target, Bruce Wayne.
Inspired By: The main story will be inspired by Scott Snyder's The Court Of Owls. This story in particular showcases Batman's detective skills and expands upon the ever-growing Batman rogues gallery.
Lead Characters (Cast): I'm only sticking to the main Batman family. So just Batman, Nightwing, and Alfred will be in this film (Sorry Damian, Babs, Jason, and Catwoman).
1. Batman/Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck)
Why?: Affleck is going to be a great Batman. I have confidence in him. But in order to differ from Bale's version of the character, this Batman should be emphasized as"The World's Greatest Detective". He needs to show his skills of detection and solve a mystery. The Court of Owls storyline gives the character the chance to do just that.
2. Nightwing/Dick Grayson (Logan Lerman)
Why?: Dick is an essential part of the Batman mythos. Yet he has not had a proper film treatment (That's right Chris O'Donnell, you sucked. And JGL's "Robin" Blake doesn't count either) that the character so deserves. Having Ben Affleck as an older Batman allows for Dick Grayson to have already been Robin and don the mantle of Nightwing. I chose Alex Pettyfer because he is in good physical shape and is an up and coming actor (loved him in Fury). I would love to see some intense acrobatics in Dick's fight scenes as well.
3. Alfred Pennyworth (Jeremy Irons)
Why?: Alfred is Bruce's right hand man and confidant. There is no Batman without him. He provides Bruce with comfort along with some occasional dry wit. Jeremy Irons is an acclaimed British actor. He is a perfect choice to pick up the mantle of the World's most famous butler from Michael Caine.
Villains (Cast)
1. The Talon/William Cobb (Scott Adkins)
Why?: The current Talon (assassin) for the Court of Owls, William Cobb carries out any murder that the group asks of him. This part is mostly action focused and doesn't require the actor to take off his mask for pretty much all of it. I chose Scott Adkins because he is a martial arts master.
2. Lincoln March/Owlman (Casey Affleck)
Why?: The surprise villain of the film, Lincoln March is a seemingly straight-edge mayoral candidate that actually has ties to the Court and Bruce Wayne. Casey Affleck is a solid actor. I have fan casted him previously. Click here to read it.
3. Harley Quinn/Harleen Quinzel (Margot Robbie)
Why?: Harley would be great as a villain to be beaten down in a cold opening. Margot Robbie will have previous been in Suicide Squad by this point. So her appearance would bring more continuity to the universe. Could also lead to a Mr. J tease at the end.
4. The Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot (Nick Frost)
Why?: Iceberg club owner/notorious criminal Oswald Cobblepot becomes a high profile target of the Court of Owls. Batman is forced to protect his nemesis from an assassination attempt. Nick Frost is known for his comedic roles. He has talent. I think he is ready to break into drama and The Penguin is just the part to do it.

Warner Bros. began their panel in Hall H with a bang by bringing Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder onto the stage. He brought with him a teaser clip and the reveal of Wonder Woman's costume. Here it is.
Now that is Diana of Themyscria! Can't wait to see it in live action! More from SDCC to come!
Could the creature that "killed" Superman have a part to play in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice? Bleeding Cool seems to think so. A source from the movie has supposedly shown the site character designs of Doomsday. The site then points out that just because there are character designs does not necessarily mean that character will make the final cut of the film. But they do make for one hot rumor though.
We have all been lied to so much about this movie I don't know what to believe anymore. I know I keep saying that Lex Luthor ain't the only villain in this thing, but could it really be Doomsday who fights Superman alongside him? Maybe. Actually fuck it I'll say yes. Doomsday is powerful enough to back up Lex. Perhaps Luthor digs up Doomsday or some shit then he proceeds to throw down with Batman, Supes, and Wonder Woman. I think I just cracked this movie wide open. Who do you think is in this movie? Sound off in the comments.
I lied. After everything that has occur I can't believe any rumor that comes out about this movie. Unless Zack Snyder gets up in Hall H at SDCC at the end of the month and explicitly states that Doomsday is in this movie, I'm not buying shit.
Could everything we have heard rumored about Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice be from a fake script written by Kevin Smith (Clerks)? That's what Movieweb.com is claiming. The site received an email from a source that claims that the leaked script that every entertainment website has been basing their rumors off of is a diversion tactic by WB.
Here's exactly what the email from Movieweb.com said: "This isn't a scoop regarding the plot or the details of the Batman v Superman movie or am I writing you in order to spoil or disappoint the general public.
My insider info regards a who has been the source of the vast majority of leaked information as regards to the movie and more importantly why.
Up until last year I worked for as a PA for a Warner Bros. exec until I was promoted to marketing. It was here I and several others where approached to work, directly and indirectly, for Susanne Knoll and sometimes Deborah Snyder.
It was here that I became a part of a particular strategy that Warner Bros has been using to great effect.
Early this year a Screenplay for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice which was commissioned by Warner Bros was leaked to several gossip sites. It was a scanned PDF of the entire screenplay baring a official Warner Bros watermark.
This script has been the source of almost every leaked detail about the movie for the last six months. It has been posted on sites then quickly removed due to cease and desist letters from Warner Bros.
While the screenplay is legit and the watermark is legit and it is was commissioned by Charles Roven himself...
But it is written by neither David S. Goyer or Chris Terrio.
It was written by Kevin Smith.
Late last year both Charles Roven and Zack Snyder approached Kevin Smith with a early treatment for the film and It was Kevin Smith who came up with the idea to write an entire screenplay based on it but with several huge red herrings and changes which do not appear in the final film. These include plot points and characters etc etc. and 'leak' it online.
This script was distributed by myself and others to gossip sites and movie sites like aintitcool, latino review, movie pilot, etc etc
My job was to pose as a worker at Warner Bros who was leaking the screenplay.
There were several others involved who posed as recently fired members of the production, interns and special effects artists and we all spread the misleading info around the web.
None of this was done maliciously and was a strategy to misdirect much of sites that intended to spoil the film."
So what should we believe? Are any of those rumored villains in the film? Has WB successfully trolled the media? I think it may be a legitimate possibility. A very interesting strategy to say the least. But how reliable is this email? Latino Reviews's El Mayimbe tweeted that "That story on that bum juice site is fake in itself." Hehe bum juice. But really what is going on?
Kevin Smith is a knowledgeable comic source and if this rumor is true he definitely has the capability of writing an extremely fan serviced script. Badass Digest says they also have a copy of this leaked script and they are also not sure if it is the real deal or not. "Like I said, I'm on the fence about the legitimacy of this script. I trust El Mayimbe's network and the other information he has beyond this script, but something about the actual script itself - whether it be the errors or the cascading fan-service (Kord Industries, Jason Todd, a Shuster Street in Metropolis, Kyle Rayner, Carrie Kelley, Thanagar, mentioning Hob's Bay, the President is named Diane Nelson, who just happens to be the president of DC Entertainment) or the fact that tonally it is nothing like Man of Steel (Themyscira has an embassy in Metropolis!) forces me to remain humbly skeptical. If this is the script then Warner Bros has learned some lessons from their last couple of movies, although I worry the sheer weight of fan service in this script could crush the film." Many of the fan service claims seem to be extremely far-fetched making it sound more and more like this "leaked" script is full of shit. I do not see Kyle Rayner or anyone from Thanagar coming anywhere near this film. Also an embassy for Themyscira in Metropolis only two years after the events of Man of Steel is almost a complete impossibility. Lastly naming the President after the president of DC Entertainment Diane Nelson is almost as big of a douchebag move as when Robert Singer named Bobby Singer after himself on Supernatural.
So all in all, I am now utterly confused. I don't know what to believe anymore. I know the photos of Batfleck and Superman are both legit, but is every other rumor from this film fabricated from this "script"? Could Metallo or The Joker or Brainiac really be in this movie and we have been victims of WB's genius plan? If so kudos to WB. They want to keep most of the information about this film a secret as long as possible and they seem to be succeeding. But this strategy also leaves fans with their dicks in their hands not knowing if they have be "smeckledorfed" or not.
Here are the 5 things I know about this film: 1. Zack Snyder is directing. 2. Chris Terrio is writing a screenplay from David Goyer's story 3. Ben and Henry's suits both look awesome 4. Jesse Eisenberg is Lex Luthor 5. Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Aquaman are in it Everything else I am going to declare as bullshit. So Victor Zsasz and Morgan Edge are not in this movie. Unless they actually are, I don't know! Damn you Kevin Smith! Guess everyone will have to be patient and wait to actually see the movie to know the truth. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is shooting now and will be in theaters May 2016. The most anticipated movie of 2016 may show it's first clip of footage at San Diego Comic Con '14 according to Latino Review's El Mayimbe. The insider tweeted "HOT #SDCC2014 RUMOR! The DC/Warners panel will show a hot clip from BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. FIND SPOT @ HALL H line NOW!" Hall H went crazy last year when Zack Snyder announced Batman would team up with Superman, but imagine the enormous reaction from the crowd if they saw a clip of the two heroes suited up next to one another. Or even better a quick fight scene? Odds would be against a fight clip appearing, but even if the clip is Superman waiting outside of a bathroom while Batman takes a shit, it's worth seeing. Clip from the reveal at San Diego '13.
After months of speculation and on the heels of Ryan's fan cast of Black Manta, Hitflix claims that Jason Momoa will indeed play Arthur Curry in the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Momoa has denied any involvement in the past, but Hitflix guarantees that are not crying wolf this time. To directly quote the article: HitFix can confirm that he will be playing the part, and that Zack Snyder has already finalized his designs for the character so shooting can take place soon. Khal Drogo as Aquaman. Fucking awesome news. Momoa will not have a major role in the film, but his part will set him up for 2017's Justice League.
Spanish website El Multicine is claiming that actress Emily Blunt (Looper) is up for a role in Zack Snyder's Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. No one knows the validity of this rumor, but it's always fun to speculate. Blunt has been offered comic book roles in the past such as Black Widow and Peggy Carter, but the Edge Of Tomorrow actress passed on both. So I find it curious that now she would all of a sudden accept a role in DC's most important film to date. At this point who the hell would she even be playing? Catwoman? Silver St. Cloud? Hopefully if this rumor is true, Blunt will play a real comic character like those and not an "original creation" for the movie. Perhaps she would be a fellow Amazonian alongside Wonder Woman or Lex's loyal driver/assistant Mercy. Damn, this rumor is getting me excited and it's probably just a big pile of bullshit. Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice is filming now and check out Emily Blunt in this week's Edge Of Tomorrow.
Batfleck and the Batmobile revealed on the same day, it's like Christmas. By far the best Batsuit ever. Can't wait to see more, but for now let's celebrate!
For this week's poll questions I asked "Besides the Holy Trinity Which Hero Is Essential For a Justice League Movie?". The winner with 40% of the vote was everyone's favorite scarlet speedsterThe Flash.
The results were:
The Flash: 40%
Martian Manhunter: 28%
Green Lantern (Stewart): 14%
Aquaman: 9%
Green Lantern: (Jordan): 4%
Cyborg: 2%
Hawkgirl: 0%
Analysis: The inspiration for this week's poll was Zack Snyder casting Ray Fisher as Cyborg. The casting made me wonder who is most important member of the Justice League besides Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. If our poll is any indication of public opinion on the matter, it feels like fans would have rather heard about a Flash casting last week instead of Cyborg. Vic Stone only managed to grab 2% of the vote. He is a relatively new member of the Justice League, being mostly associated with Teen Titians before the launch of the New 52 in 2011, so it is quite interesting Cyborg would be cast before other lifetime members of the team. Which brings me to the question "Which member/members get/s left out because of Cyborg's inclusion?"
I'm sorry to say that I think the answer to that question is our second place finisher the Martian Manhunter. J'onn has been a member of the Justice League since it's conception in 1960. Since then he has mostly appeared in JL stories with only the occasionally comic of his own. Children of the 90's will remember the Manhunter being apart of the cartoon Justice League. The character only had his ties with the team split recently in 2011, when the New 52 launched. J'onn was replaced as a founder member by Cyborg for a new JL origin story. This is a clear sign that WB wants to use the New 52 version of the team rather than the original roster.
For the New 52, Cyborg replaced J'onn in 2011 to add diversity to the League's ranks. This was similar to how the cartoon Justice League replaced Aquaman with Hawkgirl to have a second woman on the squad. I'm all onboard for diversity, but Cyborg is not my first choice to represent it. I would rather John Stewart in the League. John is the African American Green Lantern. He adds diversity to the team while bringing his popularity from his association with the JL cartoon. No one, not even Ryan Reynolds, wants to see Ryan Reynolds back in his terrible CGI suit as Hal Jordan Green Lantern. Choosing John as the Lantern distances this JL film from that 2011 flop while adding diversity to the roster. It's a win-win. Cyborg's casting does not bring nearly as much advantage or excitement.
There have been many different incarnations of the Justice League over the years. I agree with the poll that there are many other characters associated with the JL that are more important than Cyborg. So WB, if you want to excite us tell us DC's TV shows are connected to the movies or cast a Flash, Green Lantern and Aquaman. Only then will you get some real excitement stirred for your Justice League.
Thanks for reading. What do you think of Cyborg? Whose on your JL roster? Sound off in the comments and make your voice heard by voting in our next poll.
Greg Silverman, the president of production at WB, simultaneously confirmed through an interview with the Wall Street Journal that a Justice League film is in the studio's plans and Zack Snyder will helm the project. Silverman also went on to say that a script is in the works now and that it will "further expand the universe". The timing of this announcement makes sense due to the recent casting of Cyborg and rumors about Aquaman. Maybe WB can continue the roll they are on by finally giving us a picture of Batfleck in his new suit. Just a suggestion. Latino Review also came out with a rumor that Justice League has a tentative release date of May 7th, 2017. Anyway, Batman vs. Superman is shooting now and expected in theaters May 6th, 2016.
The great Hans Zimmer will return to score Zack Snyder's Batman vs. Superman. Initially there was some doubts that Zimmer would return for the Man of Steel sequel because of the addition of Batman. Zimmer had scored all of The Dark Knight Trilogy filmsand had stated that he had done all he could with Batman, but lucky for us, he seems to have changed his mind. He told Digital Spy in a recent interview about his plans after finishing scoring Chris Nolan's Interstellar "We've already had a couple of chats, and once I finish the movie that I shall not talk about I will probably head over to where Zack is shooting his movie and just hang out a bit and see if we can come up with any ideas." So Hans is on the case. Can't wait to hear his follow up for Batman. Batman vs. Superman is filming now. Read more:http://www.digitalspy.com/movies/news/a564672/hans-zimmer-poised-to-return-for-batman-vs-superman-score.html?utm_source=twt&utm_medium=snets&utm_campaign=twitter#~oBwN7vDfJbjBjH
Zack Snyder recently cast Holly Hunter (The Incredibles), Callan Mulvey (300: Rise of the Empire), and Tao Okamoto (The Wolverine) in his Man of Steel sequel currently titled Batman vs. Superman. When asked about who these actors will be portraying, Snyder responded "all three actors will play characters newly created for the film." No new information had come out about these "new characters", until today when Latino Review reported " We think Holly Hunter is going to be playing Leslie Thompkins, or a Leslie Thompkins replacement character." If this true, movie fans will get to see another wrinkle of Batman lore. Leslie Thompkins is a doctor, who was friends with Thomas Wayne, so when Thomas died, she became active in young Bruce's life. Some incarnations even have her as a confidant who knows Batman's identity, such as Batman TAS. Hunter is a great actress, who I can easily fit into a younger Leslie Thompkins-like character. Batman vs. Superman is filming now.
Zack Snyder has officially added three new actors to the cast of his superhero mashup Batman vs. Superman. All three will play orginal characters for the film. The actors include Academy Award winner Holly Hunter (O' Brother Where Art Thou), Callan Mulvey (300: Rise of an Empire), and Capey nominated actress Tao Okamoto (The Wolverine). That is a fine set of actors. I personally hope Holly Hunter plays Ben Affleck's fiancee because I want him and Henry Cavill to renact the fight scene from O'Brother Where Art Thou. "You can't say that to my fiancee!" Boom, epic superhero fight. Also, I guarantee Callan Mulvey will play the orginal character who turns out to be a classic comic villain because apparently every superhero film needs a big reveal charcter now. Well anyway, Batman vs. Superman is filming now.
