Rumor has it that Warner Bros is interested for Matthew Vaughn (Kingsmen, X-Men: First Class) to direct their upcoming Man Of Steel sequel. My Reaction:
Make this happen! It just needs to. Matthew Vaughn brings incredible action sequences, heart, and a great sense of humor. All which a Superman movie should have in spades.
Just imagine this with less guns, more Brainiac bots, and a 100% more Henry Cavill (Man Of Steel). Now that's a home run.

The Batman himself, Ben Affleck (Justice League), dropped a cool piece of footage from what appears to be the Justice League (2017) set on all of his social media platforms earlier today. The footage appears to be confirmation that DC villain Deathstroke will be in DC's superhero team up. Check it out:
So this must mean that Deathstroke is in Justice League, right? Well maybe or maybe not because according to The Wrap's scoop master supreme, El Mayimbe, Deathstroke will feature as the main antagonist in Ben Affleck's Batman solo movie. Many had assumed that Jared Leto's Joker would face off with the Dark Knight in his new solo flick, but that appears to not be the case. Deathstroke could definitely cameo in Justice League and then star in The Batman. Or some are suggesting this could just be a costume test just for the Bat's solo film and Slade will not appear in JL.
Personally I hope to see the Terminator in both. Just imagine the fights Batman and Slade will have. Those will definitely rival the warehouse scene from Batman V Superman (2016). Or maybe Zack Snyder wants to recreate the moment from Brad Metzler's Identity Crisis when Deathstroke takes down the whole Justice League by himself. That would be sick.
Are you excited to see Deathstroke in the DCEU? Who should play him? Which movie do you want to see him in the most? Sound off in the comments or hit me up on twitter @cstrand73.
Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice certainly did not get the beloved reception Warner Bros was hoping for. So who is gonna come to save the DCEU's future? Why DC Comics' myriad of amazing villains of course! The newest trailer for David Ayer's bad guy team up flick first appeared online after the airing of MTV's Movie Awards. So far it's receiving a lot of praise online just like it's two previous teasers. Check it out!
My TOP 5 Takeaways
1. MARGOT ROBBIE is a force in every clip I've seen from this movie so far. Her line about "being vexing" was so classic Harley it hurts. Also seeing Harley putting her shirt on was a touch too ;).
2. I love how us the audience has no idea how the Joker is involved in this story. That was a major problem with Batman V Superman. Even before the Doomsday reveal in the second trailer, the audience knew that the big two would fight, makeup, become pals, then take down an enemy, and the credits would roll. Suicide Squad however, much like the Joker, is completely unpredictable. All we know is that Waller forms a team and shit goes down. Also Leto's Joker reminds me more of Mark Hamill's than Heath Ledger's. His scene where he threatens a dude who is "chit-chatting" reminded me of this:
3. El Diablo isn't a super famous or beloved DC comic character. So it was cool to see him get a funny character moment along with Will Smith's Deadshot. I'm excited to see how the team utilizes his flame powers.
4. When the first picture of the Squad came out last year I kind of shat all over Killer Croc's look. Well consider this an apology Mr. Ayer cause your practical Croc has looked great on screen in all 3 trailers so far. I loved that shot of his lizard-like eyelids closing. Also the more and more I see of this Croc the more it reminds me of the old Batman The Animated Series one.
5. Last week everyone on the internet got their panties in a bunch because a report came out that reshoots for Suicide Squad were happening in order to add more humor. Well this trailer should refute those BS rumors. There seems to be plenty of humor in this film already. Squad stories have always had humor come from their interactions between their over the top villains and this trailer shows us a bunch of that.
BONUS: I need more Batfleck in everything. His Batman was the absolute highlight of BVS. So as you can imagine, I can't wait for him to come face to face with villains like Joker, Harley, and Croc. Also Zack Snyder has stated that Batman put most of the Squad members in prison. So these baddies have vendettas against the Bat. Seeing more of him in this trailer, especially when he is equipped with a Bat Breather no less, brings me absolute joy.
Also I love this nod to Greg Capullo's Endgame Joker. What a beautiful image!
Lastly, reshoots are not always a bad thing. All Marvel movies schedule them. This is not a Josh Trank situation where David Ayer has been fired and Zack Snyder is picking up the pieces. What these reshoots are is a chance to add more action and strengthen character arcs. The latter is definitely something BVS needed.

David Ayer (Training Day) just dropped a bombshell on Twitter. The director has released the SDCC teaser trailer that was shown in Hall H on Saturday morning. Only select few were meant to see it, but due to so many low quality pirated versions online, Ayer decided to release the footage in a higher quality. Check the greatness.
Top 5
1. Jared Leto looks and sounds amazing. Dude is already a master creep. Scooper Supreme El Mayimbe has said his sources on the Suicide Squad set have told him that Leto is knocking this performance out of the park. This 5 seconds of him confirms that.
2. The Wall is The Wall. Viola Davis isn't playing it nice. She is gonna force these super criminals to do what she desires. Ever the antagonist.
3. Will Smith looks game for the first time in a long while. If 7 years ago, you told me Will Smith would be in a superhero movie not called Hancock I would have been a 100% in. But since around 2009, when Will stopped doing great movies and instead just started promoting his kids to the masses, I have been hesitant to be excited for any project he is in. Forget that shit. He looks like classic WS in these 3 minutes.
4. Big props to Killer Croc's look. When the first official pic came out I gave his practical design some shit. It looks much better on film than I anticipated.
5. Margot Robbie is the X-Factor. She could become the next Groot or Rocket if the movie does well. So far from what we have seen, I'm digging her portrayal.
Bonus: Jai Courtney didn't suck! Letting Aussie be an Aussie was a good idea.

Forget Batman and Superman, the real greatest team up of all time is taking place behind the camera. Warner Bros has announced that Academy Award winning talent and current Batman, Ben Affleck (The Town), will be directing as well as starring in the next Batman solo film! So who did WB decide to team with their one man wrecking crew to write this bad boy? None other than their top DC comics writer, Geoff Johns (The Flash)! Holy shit, right? That is one hell of a tag team. Affleck is a life long fan of the character and Johns has written the Bat on multiple occasions. So expect the most comic accurate and badass Batman to date on the silver screen. The movie is expected to shoot after Affleck wraps up production on Dennis Lehane's Live By The Night. So a tentative mid 2017 release date sounds likely! Source: ComicBookMovie

There are a lot of religions in the world. Some people worship Jesus. Some worship Muhammad. Others prefer Buddah, but I (like many others) follow the one true god, Bruce Timm! The man, the myth, the animation legend! Bruce has returned to WB animation with some more incredible DC Animated Universe goodies. This time though he has tinkered with DC's classic Trinity (Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman) to bring us a newer and darker take on our favorite heroes. Superman is Zod's son, not Jor-El's. Dr. Kirk Langstrom is under Batman's cowl. And Wonder Woman is from now New Genisis not Themyscrira. It's an "What If" story for the ages. So check out 4 mini prequel episodes from Machinima. Then be sure to buy Justice League: Gods and Monsters when it comes out in July.
Screw Jim Gordon "Robo" Batman. I wanna see Kirk Langstrom Batman fuck bad guys up. Murdering villains by sucking their blood is pretty damn effective. Make it happen Scott Snyder!
Suicide Squad director David Ayer (Fury) just dropped a bombshell just for Mr. J's special 75th anniversary. Here is our first look at Jared Leto's Joker.
Holy shit! That sure is different. Reminds me of Frank Miller's All Batman and Robin Joker (Which isn't really a good thing because Frank Miller has really lost his fastball). I dig the tattoos for sure, but I'm gonna have to see him in action before I judge the new look. For now I will say like it, don't love it.
Yellow Teeth > Grillz
This makes me wonder though, what will Harley gonna look like? Because of the way her pudding' looks here I'm guessing more of an Arkham City style rather than her classic BTAS threads. At the end of the day though, who really cares what Harley is wearing. All that matter is that Margot Robbie is playing her.

Wow, what a difference 48 hrs. can make? Two days ago, I ruthlessly shat all over WB because I thought they let Michelle MacLaren (Game of Thrones) go for stupid reasons. Then yesterday several outlets reported that maybe WB wasn't so misguided in not agreeing with her vision of Diana. Apparently Michelle had some crazy ass ideas that she wanted to implement in the Wonder Woman film. Such as giving Diana a tiger sidekick that she could talk to and confide in. Finally Jasmine from Aladdin and Diana would have more in common than just being princesses! And if that wasn't strange enough for ya, Michelle wanted to set the film during the world's most famous war, the Crimean War. Yup that notable war that saw the fall of the once great Ottoman Empire. (Yup you bet your ass I googled that shit). And just when I thought my theories looked stupid enough already, the final bomb dropped that completely blew up everything I said two days ago. According to inside sources, Scott Eastwood (The Longest Ride) is not going to be Steve Trevor in the DC movie universe. So my idea that WB wanted his romance with Diana at the forefront of the movie is total bullshit.
Story of my life.
So here I am with no other option, but to apologize to WB for my abrupt comments. I thought you guys were getting cold feet, but just maybe you guys do have some semblance of what should and what shouldn't be in a Wonder Woman film.
I'm sorry WB. I just got to Step 9.
Okay now that I'm done kissing ass, it's time for some good news. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Patty Jenkins (Monster) has inked a deal that will put her at the helm of Wonder Woman. She was supposed to direct Thor 2 a few years back, but like MacLaren here, she left for creative differences. So I'm guessing that WB and her have a specific vision together or they would not have signed her up. Can't have two directors leaving one project. That shit would be bad for business. And best of all because this deal happened so quickly, the movie is still planning on shooting this fall and opening in 2017! Hopefully tiger-free!
Thanks for reading! Do you like Patty Jenkins? Are you excited to see Wonder Woman in Batman V Superman? Let us know in the comments or tweet at us @Caped_Informers or me @cstrand73. And make sure to tune in for our weekly Arrow,Flash, and Daredevilreviews.
Who is in the new robo-batsuit? Well, we were supposed to find out from DC's free book on Free Comic Book Day, but a page from that been has leaked. Click below to find out the new person behind the cowl. Be warned it is a SPOILER!
Bad news for Wonder Woman fans! The Hollywood Reporter has found out that director Michelle MacLaren (Game Of Thrones) has left the upcoming Wonder Woman film that is set to star Gal Gadot (Fast Five) and maybe Scott Eastwood (The Last Ride). The main reason for her departure is being cited as "creative differences with WB" for the direction of the project. No replacement has been named and the movie is still currently slated for 2017. Source: The Hollywood Reporter
Wonder Woman is an icon. She has long deserved the movie treatment. And this news is just another kick in the balls. Michelle MacLaren is a talented person. It sucks to lose her. Similarly Joss Whedon left a potential Wonder Woman movie a few years back. My question is what the fuck are the "creative differences" that WB wants that are turning off all these talented people off with? Do want her to be a damsel in distress for Steve Trevor to save? Do they want her to be a porn star? Cause seriously whatever it is they need to cut the shit and let the creative people craft the character and story.
My best guess to why MacLaren left is that WB probably wanted a large romance subplot tied to Scott Eastwood's Steve Trevor and she didn't want to focus on that bullshit and left. That's just me though cause I'm pretty much done with romance in superhero properties. (I'm such a happy person!) It's ruining Arrow right now. Olicitiy is a fucking disease that has infected the show and changed the funny, charismatic Felicity into weepy romantic fodder for Ollie and Ray to fight over. But back to Wonder, my point is that WB needs to stop turning everyone off with their idea of a Wonder Woman movie. Cause clearly people who know stuff about the character don't like their ideas.
Diana is one of my favorite heroes. She has had many great runs in comics by some awesome writers like George Perez, Gail Simone, Greg Rucka, and most recently Brian Azzarello. The movie could just put the ideas straight from there and I'd be happy. Or fuck it be lazy just adapt the 2009 animated movie that starred Keri Russell (The Americans) as Diana. Personally I don't care what you do just get this movie made. We have heard bullshit excuses for years like "writing a female led film is tricky" and "we just got to get the right people in place". I'm done with that crap. Hunger Games is one of the highest grossing franchises of all time. Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow is one of the most popular characters at Marvel. Women can kick ass. They are not tricky to write for. Just ask Game Of Thrones author George RR Martin.
There is nothing tricky about it. Craft a vision for the characters and let's do this shit. Stop the excuses. Stop the dumbass demands to your creative talent. And make a movie about a superhero that every wants to see. Not just because she is a woman, but because she is an inspiring character who has earned the right to grace the silver screen. (End Rant)

David Ayer keeps tweeting out gold. Moments ago he dropped this photo of a green haired Jared Leto as an homage to Alan Moore's famous Batman story "The Killing Joke".
Wow! That is awesome. Rumors that Joker killed Jason Todd in this universe are swirling. Could he have paralyzed Barbara Gordon as well? Whatever the case, when Batman and The Joker do finally meet up in this universe they are going to have some serious history.
I can't wait till we finally get a Joker + Harley photo. That shit is gonna be gorgeous.
Suicide Squad doesn't come out until August 2016, but the hype is high right now! Leto is gonna kill it!
Green Hair!

Suicide Squad is revving up it's production schedule and to celebrate director David Ayer (Fury) just tweeted out this gem.
This shot is of the first cast script read through. Who wouldn't wanna be the fly on the wall in this room? Or a fly on the wall in any room Margot Robbie is in for that matter. One thing to note is that Jared Leto aka The Clown Prince of Crime is absent from the picture. Not to worry though JarBear Instagramed a picture of his pale completion from the Toronto set earlier this week so I expect he isn't too far away. As for the cast that is there, Will Smith popped on a Phillies' hat for this pic and I instantly like him again. Dude has charisma out the ass, but his ego and questionable parenting (Jaden and Willow should be locked in Arkham) have hurt him the last few years. Let's hope this movie gets this guy's career back on track cause I want to like him again. More MIB Will Smith and less After Earth Will Smith. Suicide Squad begins filming soon and will hit theaters August 2016. P.S. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje could Eddie Murphy this movie and play every role and I would watch the shit out of it.
UPDATE: Latino Review Scooper El Mayimbe is reporting that Jim Parrack (True Blood) is now playing Deathstroke instead of Joe Manganiello (Magic Mike). Parrack is the guy standing second from the right in the picture above.
Apparently Joe Manganiello is too busy filming Pee Wee's Netflix series to be Deathstroke. Real clown move, bro. Joe, I thought you were a comic fan? Missing out on being a badass assassin role to hang out with a dude who jacks off in movie theaters is a real swing and a miss.
Hell, even Pee Wee Herman didn't miss his chance to be in a comic book movie. He was Penguin's dad in Batman Returns. He didn't speak a word and attempted to drown his newborn baby, but it still counts.
Anyway Jim Parrack is a fine replacement. I liked the dude as Howt/Bubba on True Blood. So I'm on board with him taking up the mantle of Deathstroke. Joe's lose is Jim's gain.
Have you ever heard the phrase "There can be too much of a good thing"? Well fuck whoever said that crap because Suicide Squad is giving us so much amazingness it can't possibly be bad for us. David Ayer has officially unmasked himself as Santa Claus because he is spreading joy and presents throughout the DC universe. It all started last night, when Latino Review revealed that professional gorgeous man Scott Eastwood, son of little known actor Clint Eastwood, would cameo in Suicide Squad as Col. Steve Trevor. Thus setting up a role for him in the Wonder Woman movie. Will he be crash landing on Themscyria? That remains to be seen. But this is a cool thread of world building and Eastwood is a star in the making. Hope and him and Gal Gadot can find some good chemistry because I would much rather have these two as love interests rather than Superman and Wonder Woman. Hey Superman, you are dating Lois Lane (Amy Adams) leave some cool women for the rest of us. Source: Latino Review
Continuing the trend of awesomeness, The Wrap reported today that Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (OZ) will play Batman bad guy Killer Croc in Suicide Squad as well. This was a heart stopper for me. I'm a massive Adewale fan. He first gained my attention as Adebisi on OZ. Beside his uncanny ability to keep a tiny hat on the top of his head, he was the scariest and most physical character on the show. He always kept you entertained and on the edge of your seat. You never knew what he was gonna do next. So when Adewale showed up in another show I was watching, Lost,as Mr. Eko, I was ecstatic. So much so that when the show eventually killed him off, I stopped watching. (I never found out what happened on the island and I don't give a shit either). So to hear this man will be playing one of my favorite Bat-villains is a dream come true.
Though the coolest component of adding Killer Croc is that it means that he has fought Batman before in this universe. It means Bats has put more criminals away than just Joker and Harley Quinn. So any number of classic Batman villains could already exist in this universe. Which is such a cool idea that any baddie who pops up against Batman in a future film will have some history battling him.
Croc is special though because for years we were forced to see a "realistic take" on Batman by Chris Nolan, where more fantastical bad guys like Croc were left off the table in favor for villains who were more likely to be real. And while that was great, the possibilities in the DCCU are much more open. Just imagine a Batman vs. Croc fight in the sewer in the beginning of the next solo Bat flick? That would be insane. Hell, maybe Croc will beat down Batman with a can of peaches. Or maybe Croc will just throw a rock at him. There can never be too much of a good thing, right?
Thanks for reading! What do you guys think of Killer Croc and Steve Trevor? Would you like to see Batman fight Croc? What's your favorite Adebisi moment? Suicide Squad begins filming soon and will hit theaters in August, 2016.
Exactly one year from today, Batman will meet Superman on the big screen. It will be a momentous occasion. Colors will look a brighter, food will taste a little better, and orgies will break out at the mere mention of Ben Affleck's chin. But until then we will have to just enjoy the first look images that Zack Snyder has been sporadically releasing. For today's viewing pleasure Entertainment Weekly has released the first picture of Jesse Eisenberg's (Zombieland) Lex Luthor.
The curls are gone and what remains is a bald scowling man. Seriously though I think that was what most people were afraid of, a curly haired Lex Luthor. Personally I was just like everyone else when Jesse Eisenberg was first cast. I was apprehensive about it. But after our second podcast called "When Jesse Met Smaug?", I got onboard. Jesse has shown time and time that he has acting ability. Just because he played Mark Zuckerberg before doesn't mean this performance will be a carbon copy. And from the sounds of the EW interview Jesse seems to be taking this character in a fun new direction. I mean he does look quite menacing in this picture. I'm excited to see what the final product looks like.
As for the people who wanted Bryan Cranston for Luthor, what would be exciting about seeing another picture of Bryan Cranston bald? It would be the same thing you saw a million times on Breaking Bad. Just because he was bald in one role doesn't mean he needs to play every bald characters for the rest of his life. The man has hair goddamn it, let him show it off in his remaining years. Now while I do think Cranston obviously has the chops to play the titular villain, his age was my main concern. He was just too much older then Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill. Like in Smallville and Mark Waid's Superman: Birthright, I prefer a Lex who is of a similar age as the Big Blue Boy Scout. Eisenberg is the same age as the Beefcake of Steel which makes me happy. But for the people who want Cranston in a DC movie (or any comic movie), I (and about a billion other people) think he should play Jim Gordon in the Batman flicks. He is the perfect age and with a mustache, he is picturesque of Gordon's comic counterpart.
At the end of the day though, I would let a fucking ewok play Lex Luthor if he shaved his head. Glad to see that Jesse grabbed a razor and joined the famous bald community. Jesse Eisenberg, Larry David, George Constanza, Walter White #UniteTheBald!

Ra's Al Ghul offers up the position of the Demon's Head, while Ray Palmer offers up the promise of steak dinner in an all new Arrow. (SPOILERS!)
Episode Description:Still weighed down by his last meeting with Ra’s al Ghul, Oliver returns home to find a new villain and his crew have started terrorizing Starling City – Michael Amar AKA Murmur, a man whose mouth has been sewn shut. Meanwhile, Laurel and Nyssa bond over their issues with their fathers and Nyssa make Laurel an offer. Thea is forced to come to terms with her father after Oliver brings Malcolm to the loft to recover, and Lance shuts out both Laurel and the Arrow. High Points
Thea feels strong guilt for Sara's death. She has really been put through the ringer.
Nyssa Al Ghul beats on Roy and Laurel in the Arrow Cave.
Lazarus Pits exist and Ra's has been using them. (Why couldn't this have been revealed by reviving Ollie in one?).
When Black Canary, Arrow, and Arsenal all team up, I get tingles in my bathing suit area.
Officer Lance expressed his anger with the Arrow for not telling him about Sara's death and how Laurel has now become the Canary. Paul Blackthrone always does great with this kind of emotional material. Him and Joe West really need to meet up sometime and vent about these damn superhero kids of theirs.
Ray Palmer is suave as hell. He makes me want to go on a steak dinner with him.
Ollie got friend-zoned.
Thea's mid drift is back and better than ever.
Daddy Diggle always has to play the role of Oliver Queen's psychiatrist. Where would the Team be without him.
Malcolm tries to be a supportive dad by telling Thea to kill him. #FatherOfTheYear
Felicity gives one of her old school pump up speeches. #OldSchoolFelicity
Cops are absolutely useless in the Flarrow universe and its hilarious. #FuckThePolice
Nyssa saves the day!
Awesome action set piece at the precinct Laurel, Arsensal, Arrow, and Nyssa kick some mute ass.
Oliver Queen doesn't dance. "You know I don't dance".
Ollie rediscovers why he is a hero.
Laurel and Nyssa are gonna train together. Laurel has become a great character. Her, Nyssa, and Thea have really become #TeamDaddyIssues.
Thea like anyone would seeks the comfort of Roy Harper.
Ra's is posing as the Arrow to try to hurt Oliver's reputation.
Decisions ... Decisions
Low Points
Boring opening that had Ollie chat with Ra's about shit we already knew.
Can someone explain how Ollie "defied death"? Was it really just because it was cold.
What the hell is Ollie talking about when he said "All the guys we put away are back out"? You stopped plenty of people who are still locked up (ex. Slade, Boomerang, Brick).
Ollie is actually considering Ra's offer just so we can fill up an episode.
Murmur went out with a whimper. He was a villain who couldn't speak, so it was not surprising he wasn't overly compelling.
Live look at Murmur getting booked at the precinct.
Verdict:For a month, I have been ranting and raving about how Arrow continues to steal elements from Batman's universe. When Ra's Al Ghul offered Ollie the position as leader of the League of Assassins, I lost my shit. Shouting complaints to anyone who would listen. And then I began posting this picture anyplace that would listen to my tirades.
But as most fanboys do, I think I overreacted. The ending of "The Offer" just sent this story into a direction that I didn't see coming. Instead of Ollie rejecting Ra's offer and the League subsequently launching an attack on Starling, the writers threw us a curveball by having Ra's Al Ghul impersonate the Arrow. It was a cool twist that was reminiscent of a Batman/Ra's storyline. The Demon Head's late nights in the hood will definitely affect the Arrow's reputation in Starling and lead to a much more interesting clash between the League of Assassins and Team Arrow.
As for the rest of the crew this week, many of our favorite characters were left to deal with their daddy issues. Laurel is having trouble with Lance after she repeatedly lied to him. Thea wants to kill her dad, Malcolm. And Nyssa is pissed that her dad would choose an outsider over her to lead the League. Each character sought comfort in someone to talk about their issues which led to the awesome team up of Nyssa and Laurel. This will be huge for Laurel. She can finally receive some hardcore training and be ready to kick ass on the streets just like Sara did. Not to mention it will get Ollie to stop saying she needs more training.
For the villain of the week, Murmur didn't factor in much. He couldn't speak so it's not like he would be able to say anything anyway. Unlike The Flash's Weather Wizard from last night, Murmur made zero impression. Just don't bring this weirdo back.
"The Offer" did not have a final 10 minutes like last night's The Flash, but it did offer a twist of it's own. So by surprising me with their direction, Arrow gets a solid 7.5 out of 10. Who is excited for the return of the Suicide Squad next week?!
Thanks for reading! What do you guys think of Ra's pretending to be the Arrow? Have you ever been friend zoned? Would you get a steak with Ray Palmer? Let us know in the comments or tweet at us @Caped_Informers or me @cstrand73. And make sure to tune in next week for "Suicidal Tendencies".
Forget Paris Fashion week, it's DC Fashion week. Last Friday, Supergirl showed off her new duds for her upcoming TV show. And now DC has flexed it's designer muscles again by revealing several costume redesigns for it's core heroes. That's right DC's greatest characters are getting updating after their Convergence event in June. So let's walk these beauties down the runway and decide who is the fairest of them all.
1. Superman/The Man of Steel/Man of Tomorrow
Superman has lost his tights and cape. He is going straight bro with his new tight tee and jeans combo. Add that too his newfound stubble and buzz cut and you have got a guy you could sit back split a 12 pack of Miller High Life Ponies with. Just be ready for when he drinks too much that night and ends up staying on your futon for the next 6 months. Grade: C+ 2. Batman/The Dark Knight/The Caped Crusader
Batman isn't brooding in the shadows anymore with this new getup. This big blue machine is much more conspicuous than the classic black cape and grey tights. Bruce has really developed a mechanized suit fetish in the New 52. First he wore one in the "Night of the Owls", then he donned the Hellbat suit on Apoklips, and then most recently at the beginning of "Endgame" he fought the Justice League in his Justicebuster suit. Out of all of those suits I would say this new one is third coolest of the four. The most interesting part about this costume though is the solicit for Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's 41st issue it says someone other than Bruce is in the batsuit. Just look at recently fired gun in that picture. Bruce is never gonna use a firearm to fight crime. So who is under the cowl? My guess would be Alfred's daughter Julia (just tossing a name out there), but whoever it is better be ready to brawl because you are not gonna be able to be stealthy with long ears that would put Roger Rabbit's to shame. Grade: B
3 + 4. The Flash + Green Arrow / The CW Crew
Flash and Arrow both have success CW shows to go along with their successful comic runs. So let's start with Barry. He looks influenced by Harrison Wells' Reverse Flash suit. I'm not loving it, but I'm not hating it either. Just really prefer the classic look. Grade: C Green Arrow on the other hand has been hitting the gym. Looking buff, Ollie. And not just that he is growing out his hair making him look like his past counterpart on Arrow. I'm really digging it. Grade: B+ 5. Wonder Woman/ The God of War
Ever since the Finchs took over Wonder Woman, I have had little to no interest in keeping up with their current storyline, but these new duds might just change that. Wonder Woman is armoring up in a big way. Switching out that silver trim for gold that really makes it all pop. But mostly I just wanna see Diana impale a dude with those bracelets. Grade: A
