Super Hero Man Crush Monday! (5/5/2014)

Happy Cinco de Mayo to all of our friends! Its Monday so time to crush on some super heros...

 Man Crush: Christian Bale

Today's man crush monday is the Dark Knight himself, Christian Bale. Besides he has devilishly good looks, and Bruce Wayne like charm, he brought such an awesome side to Batman on the big screen. He really have us the first look at a darker Batman and depressed Bruce Wayne even with all that wealth. To me in my opinion he has been the best Batman up to date (will that be beaten?). Plus he brought that ever so famous "Batman voice" that we have all grown to love and cherish. If you ask every pink hat Batman fan who their favorite was, they will all say Christian Bale. Ladies in particular because of the physical condition he was in to play this role. As of now, I have to agree cause those 90s attempts at the Bat's really sucked. Bale is an extraordinary actor and well deserving of this man's crush.

Character Crush: Aquaman (Arthur Curry)

Aquaman is most often referred to as The King of Atlantis and all the Seven Seas, but that does not fully define the character. Arthur is really a man split between two worlds. He grew up in Maine with his father, but now he is the leader of Atlantis. That position forces him to make decisions of which of his two beloved homelands to support. He does not want to leave the surface world forever to be in Atlantis and nor does he want vice versa. This problem was the prominent theme of last year's Justice League story Throne of Atlantis. The Justice League and Atlantis became at odds with each other and Aquaman had to decide where his allegiance lies. Arthur initially fights the Justice League, kicking their asses in the process, but it was only a cover to protect them so he could dis throne his war crazy brother. So there is nobody on the planet who has can find a middle ground like Aquaman. He has taken his share of jokes and bullshit over the years, but hopefully soon general audiences will get to see how Aquaman is just as badass as anyone else in the Justice League. He can beat the shit out of you on land, in the water, and hell he even can call in a giant shark to chomp your ass if he wants. So Arthur if you are looking for a Hand To the King, look no further because I'm your guy.
