A few months back it was reported that there would be no Iron Man 4 and Marvel Studios would only have back their most valuable box office weapon, Robert Downey Jr. (Zodiac), back for Avengers: Age Of Ultron and Avengers 3. Well that sounds like a big load of shit now with RDJ telling The Wrap in an interview that "We're in the middle of negotiations, blah blah blah." and when the host further pressed the actor if the movie is happening, he replied "Ok, yes,". So get excited because Iron Man 4 will indeed exist.

It is no secret that I publicly despise Iron Man 3, but that in no way means that I am not excited for another movie for the armored Avenger. Hopefully Marvel has listened to all the criticism they received from fans about that piece of cow shit.
Now the two things that i think the next Iron Man needs are a new creative team and a great villain. First Marvel should can director Shane Black and writer Drew Pearce. RDJ needs his own Russo Brothers (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) that brought new life to Cap's franchise. So find a director(s) with a cool vision and go for it.
Now secondly Tony needs to battle an interesting baddie. The MCU is short on good villains in their movies and the Iron Man franchise may be it's biggest offender for terrible antagonists. Whiplash and his parrot, Justin Hammer, and scorned lover Aldrin Killian are all atrocious villains. Jeff Bridges' Iron Monger is the only bad guy worth his own movie. Long story short, Marvel should steal a villain from either the Avengers gallery or any other set of heroes' rogues because Iron Man's villains suck. I mean I like Fin Fang Foom, but how the hell would he ever work in a movie? Unless Tony is in a Jaegar and is drift compatible with Rhodey. An Iron Man and Pacific Rim crossover! A total impossibility but a fucking awesome idea. But at the end of the day, Marvel needs to give Tony the sequel he deserves and the one he needs right now. Are you excited for Iron Man 4? Sound off in the comments.
