He looks glorious in that slightly brighter suit. Also gotta love his new haircut. But the biggest takeaway from this picture is the background. Looks a hell of a lot like Gotham to me. Behind him you can see smoke stacks mixed with dark landscapes that all just reek of sadness. Must be in Gotham. Hope to see a big chunk of the movie set in that shithole of a city.
Latino Review's El Mayimbe has an exclusive about 3 villains, who will supposedly appear in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. There could be some potential spoilers so you will have to hit the read more to check it out!
El Mayimbe's sources first claim that Metallo and the Joker will not be featured in the film. Thats fucking depressing. Perhaps they will show up in future installments.
His first villain rumor is Victor Zsasz aka Mr. Zsasz. El Mayimbe says that Zsasz is "A serial killer Batman fights early on in Gotham City. He usually kills with just a knife and carves a tally mark somewhere on himself for every victim. A real nasty piece of work." So if this rumor holds up, it sounds like Zsasz will be a cold opening for Bats. Sounds like an ultra-violent way to introduce a weathered, experienced Batman. I'm onboard!
The next supposed villain is Morgan Edge. El Mayimbe says of Edge that "If I was a betting man, I would put money on Scoot McNairy playing this guy. In the movie, Edge is a total slimeball and a public relations exec for Lexcorp. Basically, he's Lex Luthor's mouth piece. We meet Edge early on when he goes toe to toe with Lois Lane in a television talk show. In the movie's backstory, Edge and Luthor were members of the most notorious gangs ever to come out of Hob's Bay. This is the kind of role that is in McNary's wheelhouse. I just don't see McNairy playing Dick Grayson/Nightwing because Grayson is in his mid 20s in the movie and McNairy is 36."
I bet against El Mayimbe here and say Scoot McNairy is more likely to play Zsasz. Though whoever McNairy plays he will excel in the role.
The only time I liked Morgan Edge was on Smallville when Clark was robbing banks for Rutger Hauer's Edge. Bring on the Metallica!
The final villain El Mayimbe mentions is David Cain. "One of the world's deadliest assassins, 50s, who meets with Luthor's bodyguard Mercy Graves to set up an assassination."
My guess would be Lex setting up an assassination attempt on Bruce Wayne. Tao Okamoto is rumored to be playing Mercy so this potential scenario seems viable.
El Mayimbe then teases another more familiar DC face, Amanda Waller. Amanda will be
"A very powerful antagonist who has yet to be mentioned or officially cast... a very stern and focused senator with an intimidating presence. She doesn't trust Superman. At all. Sees him as a threat and comes up with a counter measure that I won't spoil."
So the casting of Waller will officially tell us if the DC TV universe is connected to the
movies. If Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Arrow) plays Waller, we will know the universes are connected. But if someone like Octavia Spencer (The Help) plays her then we will most likely see different versions of the Flash and Green Arrow on the big screen.
When these 3 villains do make appearances in this movie, my guess is that they will all play small parts in the larger scheme of things. What I really think is interesting from these scoops was Amanda Waller's "countermeasure". What could it be. I keep saying that Lex isn't the only major villain in this movie because the final battle will need more firepower if it is to involve Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. These 3 low grade villains still don't pack enough punch to bring the Holy Trinity together, so I believe Waller's countermeasure will do so. If not Metallo, who could it be? Bizzaro? Could she be in contact with Brainiac somehow? I don't know. But whoever it is I bet will be a big part in the final showdown.
Could the countermeasure be Aquaman? Just a crazy thought. Or is it fucking genius?

If the movie is anything like this clip, we will be in good shape.
Great news all around!
